How a Splats Day Works
The play is learned and performed by up to 4 classes in just one day.
In a magical show family and friends , delight in what has been created in the end of day show.
Our directors assembly to brief the actors on the exciting task ahead and to guide the teachers for the prop making tasks.
Learning The Scenes
The play is split into 4 scenes so the classes need to be in 4 groups. These can be up to 35 and we can adapt for smaller groups, sometimes they learn two scenes each.
Rehearsals are active, fun and a real challenge for all
Lessons are ideally an hour and about 45 minutes for the show, but this is flexible depending on your timings.
Making The Set and Props
All described in our teaching pack which you will receive on booking.
Fun and challenging tasks.
The splats teacher acts as narrator which guides the play along and helps cue the pupils. We very much recommend inviting parents and any classes not taking part to watch the show as of course it works best with an audience!
No time for any nerves - just straight to the stage in a fun, light-hearted way
